Primary Source for the Study Reliance of the Traveller (Rott), A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law A highly respected source of Islamic law of the four schools of Sunni Islam, with 75% agreement among them (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali). 5. Why Does Sharia Exist? Islam’s top priority is to replace and run all states and governments as an Islamic state under Sharia, an elaborate legal, social, political, and religious system. When a state becomes Sharia, the state is Islam. 11. Islamic Supremacy … [One] of the basic principles of Islam is that it must be extended to the whole world by conversion or at the least by submission to Islamic authority. The caliph has an obligation to promote and fulfill this universalism, if necessary by the force of arms. This is the meaning of holy war or jihad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying, “I am the last, there will be no prophet after me.” This does not contradict the final coming of Jesus, since he will not rule according to the Evangel (evangelist), but as a follower of our Prophet.
