  3. What we learned from our teacher interviews: • Teachers want to be supported by the school and division leaders • A culture of high expectations for students is important. • Financial incentive need to be substantial

  4. Additional Learning from School Teams: • Providing teachers with opportunities for leadership is needed. • Incentives should be based on multiple outcome measures.

  5. Eligible Schools • Highland Springs High School • Fairfield Middle School • Wilder Middle School • Highland Springs Elementary School • Fair Oaks Elementary School • Laburnum Elementary School • Glen Lea Elementary School • Adams Elementary School

  6. Learning Leaders Teacher Incentives • $3,000 for implementing engaging instructional practices • $5,000 for meeting individual student growth goals on SOL and NWEA assessments. • Total annual incentive: $8,000

  7. Learning Leaders Administrator Incentives • $4,000 for supporting teacher instructional growth • $6,000 for meeting school-wide and individual student learning goals and stakeholder satisfaction targets • Total annual incentive: $10,000

  8. Next Steps • Learning Leaders Academy in October to learn more. • Eligible teachers “opt-in.”
