This study investigates the impact of change blindness on detecting alterations in 3D parametric design models. By examining three interface types—model visualization, periphery visualization, and a combined view—we aim to enhance change visualization features and improve human-computer interaction design. Results indicate that while no significant difference exists between the model and periphery visualizations, the combined visualization significantly aids in quicker and easier change detection. Addressing change blindness is crucial for preventing poor design outcomes in complex models.
