  2. Dates November 23-24, 2019 • About 31-45 students • First to turn in forms and money • Possible Lottery

Criteria to Participate • Any student who receives any out-of-school suspension at any time during the school year is ineligible to travel, as determined by the director or administrator.  • Students with multiple (more than two) (Focus Room) including time-outs, all day Focus Room or After School Detentions or serious behavior concerns in any class or on campus, on a school bus, or on a field trip, may also be ineligible to travel, as determined by the director or administrator.  • Any student missing more than 10% of the school days before the trip may be ineligible to travel, as determined by the director or administrator.

  4. Costs • Cost is $300.00 for this 36 hour trip - Option 1: pay $300.00 - Option 2: Pay $100.00 Now - Rest of the payment $197.00 Extra Cost: You need money for three total meals (2 lunches and 1 dinner)

  5. Paying/ Tax Credit Donation Payments made will go into the 8th grade tax credit account. The money is non-refundable. How to Pay- All money must go through the district office or online.

  6. Trip Packet A completed packet which I will send to you

  7. Schedule (1st Day) 5:30 a.m. Busses arrive at Aprende 6:00 a.m. Depart school TBD Lunch Break need $ 2:30 p.m. Board the Star of India- start the reenactment.

  8. Schedule (Day 2) 9:00 a.m. Pick up at Star of India 9:30 -12:30 Floating Lab TBD Lunch – need $ 1:30 p.m. Depart for home TBD Dinner –Yuma - need $ 9:00 p.m. Arrive at School Parents MUST be on time for pick up.

  9. Remember…….. Students may be exposed to all types of weather. Sunny, Warm, Cool, Windy, Rain

  10. When in doubt, leave it out. Whatever you pack you will carry in one trip.

  11. Cell Phones-Music Players-Electronics • Not to be on the ship • The school is not responsible for any loss items

  12. Medicines • All medications that are taken on a daily basis need to be in labeled prescription bottles and given to the staff member at the bus. • Medications will be put in a bag to be given to the appointed staff member in charge of medications. • Do not give your child any medications to take along. • Do not give other students medications. • Nothing will be given to your child without a signed permission form.

  13. Pick-up • Students will need to be picked up at Aprende • Last Day of trip at 9:00 PM • PLEASE BE ON TIME!!
