Requesting new pages – reminder! • WJ Partner CQ Authors need to submit a request for any new pages (Topic, Program or Group) • Page name • Where it should surface • Which pills: overview, documents, news, events, etc • Any custom pills • Related pages Fill out the form and send to KathleenNew pages should be ready within 1-3 days – depending on complexity and deadlines
Breadcrumbs are now live! • Now appearing on all content aggregation pages: topic, group, program, etc • Appear on all partnerpages that appear under Our Partners > [YourState] in the CQ Author system • Do not appear on document, event, news, or materials pages • If you notice a missing breadcrumb– let us know

Great use of images from across the state and of staff at the state library! Great tip: Use a tool like PowerPoint for layout and text. Save as one image and then upload to the DAM!

Upload Images to CQ DAM –digital asset manager • Navigate to the dam > WebJunction > Images > montana

Adding Images to your pages • OCLC Text tab will display – this shows only your text, no image. Add/Edit text.

Adding Images to your pages • - Add a new image: select Browse tab > navigate to DAM > Images > montana- Images in the DAM will surface in the column view - scroll through images- Drag & drop the image to the over to the image box. The image will update!

Review of discussions in CQ Partners can…. (Members can too….) • Request WJ to add a discussion to a topic, group, or program page. Send request to Kathleen. • Start or reply to threads on a discussion page. Sign in to live website to post. • Report instances of spam or other inappropriate posts to WJ. Send to support@webjunction.org and the post will be removed from the live website. • Subscribe to a thread to receive notifications of replies.
Review of discussions in CQ Not available: • Editing threads • Pasting Word or other application content into a thread. This leads toan error. • Moving threads from one discussion to another • Require approval before posts are published • AddingAttachments • RSS
Enhancing Webinars • Create template for participant and facilitator guides • Work more deliberately with presenters to: • Include learning objectives in description and presentation • Provide questions for discussion to add to participant or facilitator guide • Encourage accessing of handouts before webinar • Encourage live viewing parties, to allow for follow-on discussion time • Encourage archive viewing
Archive Viewing • During FY12, webinar archives were viewed over 5,000 times, downloaded 2,400 times • In July alone, 700 archive viewers, 350 archives downloaded, top 3 accessed: • “That’s Not What I Said!”: Foundations of Interpersonal Communication • Understanding Compassion Fatigue in Your Library • Bridging the Digital Divide with Mobile Services
Enhancements to Archives Keep archives freely available for everyone + Add archives to course catalog for sponsored Members Members can access either way Access via catalog can result in certificate of completion and included in partner course reporting Member confirms they have viewed 75%+ to receive certificate Provide learning objectives and guide Begin adding top viewed/most relevant archives
