The Local Government Community Grant Makers Network is a professional interest group formed in 2004 to support local government staff and councillors involved in community grantmaking. Coordinated by the Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA) and Our Community, the Network fosters information sharing, discussions, and best practices among councils. Key initiatives include enhancing accessibility to grants for CALD communities and promoting community strengthening through effective grantmaking strategies. Resources are available on the VLGA website and via our community platforms.
