Comparative Methylation Analysis of DPT and DSCAM Genes in CKD and CTL Patients

This study investigates methylation patterns of the Dermatopontin (DPT) and Down syndrome cell adhesion molecule (DSCAM) genes using Sequenom MassArray Epityper and Infinium 450K technology. Significant differences in methyl cytosine levels between CKD and CTL groups were observed (p<0.001). The analysis reveals insights into relative unmethyl cytosine levels and mean methyl cytosine distribution in CpG units. Supplementary Figure 3 provides additional data for comparison.
