  9. Selected highlights and plans Membership • now 357 (316 a year ago) • Growth partly reflects the recession, but our message is also getting across more effectively • 10% outside UK, including California, Moscow, Wales… • No plans to actively promote non-UK membership • New member Ros Elwes, Off the Wall Consulting: 'I have never been part of a more knowledgeable, forward thinking supportive group. Members not only support but also provide fruitful business leads to each other.' • New member Viv Mott, MS-Markforschung, Germany: 'The ICG is a great information resource. Someone is always able to help.'

  10. Selected highlights and plans Website • Continued enhancements after major 2007 relaunch – lots of improvements behind the scenes • The new Blog will project contemporary thinking/news

  11. Selected highlights and plans Advertiser listings • Contributing £3,000+ to ICG revenue - for second year • We want to support this: valuable funds + a membership resource

  12. Selected highlights and plans Trade shows • Insight and MRS stands – good to have a presence – mainly targeting prospective members • ‘ICG village’ dropped at July’s Insight 2009 in favour of a modest ICG stand: economic realities • We will be reviewing other show opportunities if we can communicate to more buyers

  13. Selected highlights and plans PR • Red Wave appointed from April 2009 following review • Talk to MRS evening meeting in March 2009 • ‘Research in a recession’ paper: building a position and point of view • Regular recent coverage & building links with press • Guiding our Blog
