  3. It’s a drink • It’s a liquid that people use to feel better about them selves when they are having tough times. How do people use Alcohol?

  4. The effects are: • Slurred Speech • unsteady movement • distend perceptions • inability to be able to react quickly. Effects (Short Term)

Effects are: • unintentional injuries (like car crashes, falls, burns, and drowning) • Intentional injuries Violence • Increase on job injuries • loss of productivity • Increase in family problems • broken relationship • Alcohol poisoning • high blood pressure • stroke • any heart rated disease • Liver diseases • Nerve damage • etc. Effect (Long Term)

  6. People that are effected start drinking at age 12 • Anyone (male or female) are effected • People aren’t suppose to drink until age 21 Who are effected and When they are effected

  7. In the U.S., 12,998 driving accidents occur in 2007 • 1.4 million drivers are arrested in the U.S. every year • In 2005, 6,570 deaths occur from Alcohol addiction • 40% of crimes occur from the use of Alcohol Death Rates

  8. People drink them at bars or restaurants that offers them • The get them from a liquor store • Grocery Stores • Places that offer them How do people get this drug?

  9. In 1920 Alcohol was illegal in the U.S. • But in 1933 Alcohol became legal in the U.S. Is this drug legal?
