  2. DO NOW: Write down one idea to complete the star sentence. One idea for every point of the star! Planning is important because….

  3. There are different ways to plan. BRAINSTORM PLANS This allows you to add lots of you don’t think in straight lines or ideas and is good if you are a ‘messy thinker’ LIST PLANS These are good for ‘straight line thinkers and can be more flexible than you might think. POST IT PLANS This allows you to rearrange your ideas and put them in a different order as many times as you like. Great for kinaesthetic learners (people who like ‘doing’, ‘moving’ and ‘trying’ things out Choose two that you think you might like to try out: Good for people who think logically TIME LINE PLANS And like to think about order and time Great for chronological writing
