  2. Why is it important to have a variety of living things in the Bay? It is important to have variety of animals in the Bay. Oysters are important to the bay because they help to clean the Bay and provide food for other animals. Widgeon grass are important to the Bay because it provides air for other animals and keeps the bay clean. My research will show that oysters and widgeon grass are important to the Bay.

  3. Oysters Oysters help to keep the Bay clean. Oysters are important to the Bay because they are filter feeders. Filter feeders are important because when the water is contaminated and dirty other animals will not be able to survive, so it is the oyster job to keep the Bay clean. Oysters also move a lot of phytoplankton from the Bay and keeps plants and animals save. Oysters provide food for other Bay animals.

  4. Widgeon Grass Widgeon grass produces a special air that flows into the water. Widgeon grass rhizomes anchor soils and sediments other bottom of the bay helps clear the corer. When widgeon grass produces air that other creatures can breath to survive. When widgeon grass are in a large cluster it helps lessen the tide and waves which protects baby larva's that on sore.
