  1. Angles

  2. Look around the room. Have you ever noticed all of the angles. The angles of corners, objects on your desk Even the angle your elbow makes when you lean on the desk

  3. Types of Angles Right Angle AcuteAngle ObtuseAngle

  4. Right Angles • Angles with one corner equal to 90 degrees • It doesn’t matter which way the corner is facing

  5. Acute Angles • Angles with one corner less than 90 degrees • It doesn’t matter which way the corner is facing

  6. Obtuse Angles • Angles with one corner greater than 90 degrees • It also doesn’t matter which way the corner is facing

  7. But don’t get stressed out. Here are a few ways to remember which angle is which. • The letter “a” comes before the letter “o” in the alphabet. “a” for acute, represents a smaller angle (less than 90 degrees) than “o” for obtuse (an angle greater than 90 degrees) • The letter “r” for right triangle, represents an angle that can sit up right with one line straight out connected to another line straight up

  8. Lets Test Your Knowledge Here are some angles. Are they right, acute, or obtuse? obtuse right obtuse acute acute

  9. CONGRATULATIONS !!! You’ve all just mastered the skills it takes to differentiate Right, Acute, and Obtuse angles!!!
