  2. FY 2003 FPDSNew Agency Reporting Responsibilities • GSA no longer able to perform corrections to agency data • Agencies will be asked to make their own corrections for the remainder of FY 2003 • No change for agencies using current web interface

  3. New Procedures(Upload Records) • Go to the FPDC web page and click on the button to “submit agency batch data.” • You will be sent to ftp://www.FPDC.gov. Double-click on “Uploads” folder. • Drag and drop (or copy and paste) the file you wish to upload onto the upload page and then close the page.

  4. New Procedures(Loading Results) • GSA server sends email with loading results • “0” errors, you are done - OR - • ICAR.log file describes format errors • Correct your format errors and resubmit

  5. New Procedures(Process Records) • GSA server automatically processes your loaded records • GSA sends 2nd email with record validation results • Records that pass validation are now in FPDS database • Records that fail must be corrected

  6. New Process(Correct Validation Errors) • GSA email returns failed records • Correct your records • Http://www.FPDC.gov/fpdc/fpdc_home.htm; click on "ICAR Error Report” which describes each error; correct file - OR - • Http://www.FPDC.gov/fpdc/fpdc_home.htm; click on “ICAR Error Update", and correct records containing errors online - OR - • Export the file that was attached to your email into your own software in order to make the corrections
