  2. The Founder • This is the founder of Wal-Mart, Sam Walton. • He began working hard for his business to open up around 1950.

  3. The First Walmart The first Wal-Mart that opened up for the first time ever was in Rogers, Arkansas in 1962.

  4. Nations No. 1 Retailer Walmart became the nation’s No.1 retailer in 1990 entering into California, Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota and Utah.

  5. The passing of Sam Walton Sam Walton passed away on April 15, 1992 at the age of 74.

  6. Customers By 2006 the number of customers increased rapidly. Helping more than176 million people around the world with 6,779 locations.

  7. Walmart Today... Walmart has improved a lot since the first time it was built. Nowadays they improve along with the world, changing technologies and other things.

  8. STILL CONTINUING TO GROW… Even though there is 6,779 locations of Wal-Marts, they are still continuing to grow. Even in little towns Wal-Mart is beginning to take place.
