  1. Welcome to our Epicurean Feast! After reading about the types of foods the Romans ate and the set up of their “banquets” (symposium) You are now ready to prepare your own feast for December 21st .

  2. First you need to select a Roman name and create a name tag with symbols or pictures depicting your philosophy-are you Epicurean or Stoic? Patrician, Plebeian, Publican, Equestrian? . • You will be participating in several Roman activities: • -toga twist (who can make a toga the fastest) • -Roman bingo (know your Roman numerals) • -Roman dominoes (know your vocabulary) • -feasting! • -Roman trivia • Come prepared! You need to bring in your name tag and banquet item on 12/21, Label with your name and SS class period-show homeroom teacher for grade! (10 pts)

  3. Drop on Dec 19th • Be prepared to create your name tag • Be prepared to create a wreath or cornucopia • Bring in materials-art supplies to work on these during drop.
