  3. Who started Disney? Disney was started by a Man called Walt Disney and his brother Roy. He was born on 5th December 1901 and died on December 15th 1988 the age of 65 from cancer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6sROMEpLlk

  4. Why is Disney so successful? Disney is successful because it has eye-catching pictures and It’s suitable for all ages. It is also successful because the cartoons ,shows and movies are all exiting and enjoyable for the whole family.

  5. Does Disney make a lot of profit? • In 2007 around 47 MILLION people visited Disney land. At the discounted rate of $25 each that would be $1.175 BILLION just from the admissions. If you look at the regular admission of around $67 dollars the made $3.15 billion. JUST from admissions. That doesn't count the average money spent per person who visits which is around $30. Another $1.4 billion. To be successful a company should profit around 15-20 percent of their gross income. So Disney probably cleared around 900 million dollars from Disneyland.

  6. How was Disney inspired? • Walt Disney was sitting on a bench, in an amusement park, while watching his daughters play. He also noticed how the amusement park was filthy and small, he also observed the reactions of people, adults had nothing to do with their children. Suddenly, he started planning on designing an amusement park where it was clean, big and the parents could ride the rides with children. Which eventually turned into the famous ‘Disneyland!’

  7. Fun Facts • Walt Disney world resort is 2 times san Francisco or 2 Manhattan islands. covering 40 square miles More than 75 million Cokes are consumed each year at Walt Disney World Resort along with 13 million bottles of water.
