Computer department was opened under Vocational High School in 1988 – 1989 educational year, and under Technical High School in 1991 – 1992 educational year, • 1992 – 1993 educational year TAMEM(Turkish German VET center) was founded with Motor and Industrial Electronics departments, • 2006-2007 educational year TAMEM’s name has been changed as ’Dual VET Center” • 2005-2006 educational year modular system has been counducted according to the SVET- Strengthening the Vocational Education and Training in TURKEY project HISTORICAL BACKGROUND(2) Mustafa ÖZCAN&Şişli TVHS

  4. 2008-2009 educational year the school name has been changed as “Şişli Technical and Vocational High School”, in short ŞTVHS. • The school is mainly serving as a Secondary High School, • The school is linked to the General Directorate of Technical Education for boys of MoNE.
