  1. Ancient Egyptian Clothing By: Kaitlyn Howard

  2. Summary Egyptian clothing was influenced by social classes and climate. The wealthier someone was, the softer the fabric. Much of the fabric was linen made from flax. Egyptians of high status shaved their heads and wore makeup and wigs. As well, all Egyptians loved and wore jewelry. They wore as much as they could afford and their favorite stone colors were blue, red, purple and green.

  3. What did the men and women wear? The men and women both wore knee length kilts and linen shirts. On special occasions the men and women would wear a dress.(Man on right woman on left)

  4. Jewelry In ancient Egypt everybody wore jewelry including men. Amulets were worn for after death.Theybelieved the charms had special powers.

  5. Gold Most of the time poor people would have worn gold such as anklets, earrings and necklaces.
