  3. Responsive Call To Worship Psalm 27 Leader: The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? People: When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall.

  4. Responsive Call To Worship Psalm 27 Leader: Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. People: One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

  5. Responsive Call To Worship Psalm 27 Leader:  For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. All:  And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord.

  8. Confession of Sin Gracious God, we praise you that you are near to us when we pray. Yet we confess that our hearts are often far from you. We rely on our wisdom, our strength, and our resources. We are restless, fearful and anxious about many things. Forgive us for our foolishness and faithlessness. Cover us afresh with your grace. Restore us. Renew us and ignite in us a passion for your glory and your Kingdom.  In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

  12. Scripture Reading Ezekiel 3:1-12 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat whatever you find here. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” 2 So I opened my mouth, and he gave me this scroll to eat. 3 And he said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey. 4And he said to me, “Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with my words to them.

  13. Scripture Reading Ezekiel 3:1-12 5 For you are not sent to a people of foreign speech and a hard language, but to the house of Israel— 6 not to many peoples of foreign speech and a hard language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, if I sent you to such, they would listen to you. 7 But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

  14. Scripture Reading Ezekiel 3:1-12 8 Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces, and your forehead as hard as their foreheads. 9 Like emery harder than flint have I made your forehead. Fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.” 10 Moreover, he said to me, “Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.

  15. Scripture Reading Ezekiel 3:1-12 11 And go to the exiles, to your people, and speak to them and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ whether they hear or refuse to hear.” 12Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great earthquake: “Blessed be the glory of the Lord from its place!”

  16. “Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another,  forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:12-14
