As we approach Spring Break, our 9th-grade English class will concentrate on refining our personal expressive pieces. Tasks include completing the second drafts, self-guided proofreading, adding dialogue, and addressing modifier issues. We will also finish "Night" by viewing Elie Wiesel's interview with Oprah and undertake a culminating activity related to the book. Our goals are to enhance our writing skills, focusing on themes, modifiers, and making meaningful connections with texts and the world around us.
