Increasing rear squat for better traction • Under acceleration and braking, the rear squat, which is caused by weight transfer, improves traction • The position of the pivot point influences the ability to squat • It can be controlled with softer shocks, but this causes drawbacks on suspension capabilities and comfort. • However, it can be controlled with geometry by adjusting the height of pivot point • By lowering pivot point we have reduced the amount of force required to squat Benefit: • Gives better traction and allows the suspension to be fine tuned for comfort and performance. New lower pivot point
