CTTC REF Consultant Report ASHRAE Summer Conference – Denver 2013 • Refrigeration Update • ASHRAE "Refrigeration Commissioning Guide: • Special Projects Subcommittee of Tech Council Approved the "Refrigeration Commissioning Design Guide" • "How to" Guide for Commissioning Commercial Refrigeration Systems • Initial Focus on Commercial Refrigeration in Supermarkets • 90% Draft of Guide out for Peer Review and has been considered by the REF and relevant TC's • Guide is NOT a consensus-based document and is not an ASHRAE Guideline or Standard

CTTC REF Consultant ReportASHRAE Summer Conference – Denver 2013 • Refrigeration Update • "Refrigerant Management Program (RMP) Exploratory Ad Hoc Committee" • Organized by ASHRAE to determine the level of participation which can be expected from stakeholders in terms of developing and implementing an RMP • The RMP will be a mutually supported program in which ASHRAE participates as a stakeholder • The goal of the RMP will be to minimize refrigerant emissions throughout their life-cycle (production, usein systems, recovery at the end of system life, and final destruction) • RMPEC will submit their final report to TechC and a decision will be made about moving forward with an Implementation Committee
