  5. Remember you can not register for TA until your account has been approved. Your SOU (Statement of Understanding) has to be signed by your Unit Commander and uploaded annually. If you are a ROTC cadet go to the cadet resource page to print off a SOU already signed by the PMS. You MUST upload a bill/class schedule from your school to GoArmyEd. You MUST upload a degree plan signed by a counselor at your school. ***YOUR TA WILL NOT BE APPROVED UNTIL THE ABOVE IS COMPLETE*** The first time you are registering for classes call GoArmyEd and have them walk you through it. You will receive a automated email to your AKO account or preferred email on GoArmyEd when your TA is approved. However, you are not done! You must log back into GoArmyEd and print off your authorizations and submit them to your bursar office. AGAIN IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING GOARMYED CALL THEM. You are a soldier in the military, be proactive in receiving your benefits. GOARMYED 1-800-817-9990
