MILITARY SERVICE OBLIGATION • Navy Option midshipmen (does not include Nurses Corps) starting their freshman year of college in the Fall of 2011 or later will be required to serve a minimum of five years of active military service. Additional requirements may be required for specific job assignments. • Navy Nurse Corps Option midshipmen will be required to serve at least four years on active duty.
