The Law of Significance • One is too small a number to achieve greatness • Teams involve more people • Teams maximize a leader’s potential and minimize his/her weaknesses • Teams provide multiple perspectives on how to meet a need or reach a goal • Teaming allows for the sharing of results • Teams keep leaders accountable • Teams can simply do more than individuals

  5. Law of the Bad Apple • ROTTEN ATTITUDES RUIN TEAMS • Attitudes can lift up or tear down • Attitudes compound when exposed to others • Bad attitudes compound faster than good ones • Attitudes are subjective • Rotten attitudes, left alone, ruin EVERYTHING

Law of the Chain • The Strength of the Team is Impacted by its Weakest Link • The stronger members identify the weak one • The stronger members have to help the weak one • The stronger members come to resent the weak one • The stronger members become less effective • The stronger members question the leader’s ability
