This paper examines innovative strategies for training business learners in intercultural competence, focusing on the integration of culture into English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses. The research highlights the lack of engagement and motivation among students, attributed to low language proficiency and inadequate instructional materials. Through a structured action research approach, the study assesses training phases that emphasize knowledge of target cultures, attitudes towards learning, and the necessary skills for effective intercultural communication. Results demonstrate significant improvements in learner motivation and engagement post-training.
