Martha’s Task

My project involved designing a logo for Martha's Task, a non-profit dedicated to helping women escape poverty through employment opportunities. Named after Saint Martha, who symbolizes resilience and empowerment, the logo aims to embody her legendary bravery. The design process included sketching concepts and recreating them in Photoshop, followed by color adjustments. I am committed to supporting Martha's Task further by enhancing their visual presence and capturing quality images of their work to promote their mission effectively.

  3. The Project My project was to design a logo for a non-profit called “Martha’s Task,” an organization that dedicates itself to helping women out of poverty by giving them the opportunity to work. This organization is named after the tale of Saint Martha, the woman who defeated a dragon-like creature when such stories were unheard of, and now stands as a feminist symbol today for her brave actions in a time where women were objectified. I was asked to make a logo that somehow represented St. Martha’s legend and incorporate it to their website.

  5. Future I will continue to work with Martha’s Task, I will help them take more quality photos of their work for sell. I want to see this company bloom further, so I will help!
