This presentation explores findings from the Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (DOPPS) concerning sleep quality (SQ) among prevalent hemodialysis patients. It highlights the distribution of SQ scores, explores characteristics of patients with good vs. poor SQ, and identifies predictors of poor SQ, including medication use. Additionally, we assess the association of SQ scores with other sleep-related issues and evaluate the relative risk of mortality in hemodialysis patients linked to SQ. Conclusions emphasize potential relationships between various factors influencing SQ.
