  2. French Population There are over 65 Million live in France. The five highest populated French areas are: Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse.

  3. French Civil War/ French Revolution The French Civil War began in the reign of King Louis XVI and Queen Mary Antoinette (who was Austrian) who were later overthrown when King Louis was recognised, trying to escape, on the back of a coin! The peasants won and France is now ruled by a Republic.

  4. France’s Favourite Foods Some of the dishes France are as followed: • Frogs Legs • Snails • Crepes ( like pancakes) • Potatoes • Soufflé • Croissant • Paun Au chocolate Soufflé

  5. French Football League Teams Some of the best football teams in France include: Paris St Germain , Marseille, Montepillar and Lyon. The national team have also have won the World Cup once in 1998

  6. Racing in France There are 2 main races in France. One of the 2 is a cycling race it is called Tour De France and last year a British man called Bradley Wiggins won it! Another is the Monaco Grand Prix and it’s a Car Race ( F1).

  7. Famous French Leaders • Marechal Leclerc- WW2 Leader • Napoleon Bonaparte- established new militarily era • Joffre- WW1 leader who beat the Germans • Joan of Arc- 100 Year War Leader • Devout- Napoleon’s Marshall
