  4. SYMPTOMS OF POOR KEYBOARDING POSTURE • Improper keyboarding posture can produce strain to your eyes, elbows, arms, wrists, hands and fingers. Unit 1 - Lesson 1 Keyboarding Posture

  5. ARE YOU AT RISK? • Areas at risk while sitting improperly include your neck, back, and shoulders. Unit 1 - Lesson 1 Keyboarding Posture

  7. POSTURE AT THE KEYBOARD • When using the keyboard, relax your arms, shoulders and back. • Lean back. Support your back. • Don’t slouch or lean forward. Unit 1 - Lesson 1 Keyboarding Posture

  8. PERFECT POSTURE • Center the front of your body to the keyboard (directly in front of the “J” key). • Your elbows should be close to your sides. • Make sure both feet are on the floor. Unit 1 - Lesson 1 Keyboarding Posture
