Advantages of posture braces: · Provides support to the spine. · Lessens the strain and pressure on the spinal area. · Improves postures. · Slows the progression of scoliosis. Posture braces: treatment for scoliosis Scoliosis affects the spine and causes a C or S curve formation in the backbone, thus, leads to bad posture. Posture braces in Singapore are used for idiopathic scoliosis which affects the spines of children and then slowly developed into an abnormal curve. These braces are alternative for surgery as if used in initial stages of scoliosis the curve progression on the spine can be reduced effectively. Hard braces and soft braces both can be used for treating scoliosis but soft braces are more helpful as they allow body movements. Soft bracing was more comfortable but less effective therefore, new braces are introduced which are both flexible and beneficial.
