SKILLSYour knowledge and expertise (CAN you do this job?) • Knowledge base-e.g. marketing strategies, management expertise, etc. • Technical skills-e.g. accounting systems, software expertise, etc. • Analytical skills-e.g. analyzing data, financial analysis, etc. • Communication skills-verbal, written • Interpersonal/relationship skills • Teamwork skills-working well in teams

  5. MOTIVATIONWhat gets you going? (WILL you do this job?) • Interest in the job (at the very least) • Enthusiasm (preferably) • Even “Passion” (but don’t fake it!) • Initiative-do you come up with new ideas and present them? • Strong work ethic-do you show up? • Risk-taking-are you willing to try innovative ideas? • Others?
