This study explores the experiences of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the Pacific Islands, focusing on their access to health services. Through interviews with 49 PLHIV from five countries, we identify key barriers, such as stigma, mental health challenges, and discrimination, that hinder service utilization. The findings underscore the significant impact of mental health on treatment adherence, highlighting the need for improved mental health services tailored for Pacific PLHIV. This research emphasizes the importance of holistic healthcare approaches in supporting individuals living with HIV.
