This initiative focuses on improving the relationship between graduate students and faculty in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Department at the University of Florida. Town Hall meetings, held twice a semester, aim to establish communication, enhance student orientation, and address key action items identified by participants. The recognition of the Association of Graduate Students in CISE (ASCIE) in September 2006 enhances this mission by fostering interaction, sharing concerns, and supporting academic development among students.
