Universal Design (UD) aims to create environments that are accessible and usable by everyone, regardless of age, size, or ability. This approach emphasizes principles such as equitable use, flexibility, simple and intuitive design, and perceptible information. Students with disabilities often face challenges in mobility, including anxiety and uncertainty due to a lack of local knowledge and support systems. By prioritizing mobility supports and inclusive environments, we can foster a community of learners and enhance overall instructional climate.
