  3. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) • Given to Juniors and Seniors in High School • 3 Areas are tested • Reading • Math • Writing • You earn up to 800 points in each section • PSAT (Practice SAT) is given to Sophomores and Juniors in High School

  4. Let’s Practice • Teacher will hand out Practice Test • You will have 20 minutes to complete • We will go over answers at end

  7. College Averages • Take your score, multiply by 3 • Trinity College Hartford = 1800 • UConn = 1500 • Eastern CT State University = 1200 • Manchester Community College = 900 Your results are just to give you an IDEA of where you are RIGHT NOW, it will change as you grow older.
