The People app in Windows 8 and 8.1 consolidates all your email and social network contacts into one convenient location, eliminating duplicate entries. Access the app through the Start Menu, ensuring you are connected to the Internet. The app displays connected social accounts in the bottom right corner, and you can replace placeholders with profile pictures.   1. People Application in Windows 8 and 8.1

  2. Social networks and email contacts are usually stored in the address book. • The People app connects all email and social network addresses in one place. These contacts are available so that a person does not have to keep storing duplicate account details.

  3. Open the People application from the Start Menu. • A person must be connected to the Internet while using the People application.

  4. Placeholders can be replaced with profile pictures. The “All” button displays everyone in an address book that is connected to email and social networks. Connected social accounts are displayed in the lower right hand corner of the application.

  5. Internet Explorer to Manage Account • Open Internet Explorer and go to; • http://profile.live.com • Sign into account if prompted
