10. > Resource Library 1997 the Learning Centre assisted in organizing a small collection of resources and creating a bibliography of indigenous Library holdings across CIT. 2005 work began to establish a Resource Library within the Yurauna Centre 2006 the Learning Centre won the CIT Chief Executive’s Indigenous Reconciliation Award for the project and our ongoing commitment and work with the YC.

11. > Resource Library 2008 the Resource Library provides an excellent resource for study, research, self development, cultural knowledge and literacy. Selection of new material is the responsibility of Yurauna Centre staff and they are encouraged to recommend resources for the general LC collections too. Resources are purchased via the Learning Centre. All resources are catalogued with the location Yurauna Collection

12. > Resource Library Culturally sensitive material is sorted by Yurauna Centre staff on arrival and shelved in a separate area Students from the Certificate 3 Library and Information Services program are gaining practical experience in the Resource Library by shelf reading, and undertaking book maintenance including covering and new shelf labels.
