  5. Step 7 is the test – to see if we are genuine…

  6. Steps 8 – 13 lead us to become strong young disciples for God. They teach us how to grow. Are the steps important?

Working with Christ Continued on other side… We must follow Christ’s recipe for our spiritual lives and follow the steps in order to have a successful Christian life.

  10. How important is it to know God? Hosea 4:6 What kind of knowledge is God talking about? Without it, what happens?

  11. John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” If we don’t know God, we’ll be destroyed. If we do know God, we have eternal life.

  14. Is it possible to study the Bible without our whole heart? Can we seek God with our whole heart if we haven’t taken Step 5 - 100% Commitment? What about if we haven’t taken Step 6 - learning to take God at His Word?

  17. Its almost impossible to have a meaningful Bible study when we use most of our free time to play computer games or watch TV. These things usually become more important to us than having a knowledge of God – they are some of satan’s most successful temptations.

  18. One more thing… “Never should the Bible be studied without prayer. Before opening its pages we should ask for the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit and it will be given.” (SC91)

  19. If we do all these, things, we will grow in our knowledge of God. But how long does it take to make these steps to Christ and grow as a Christian?

  21. Your eternal life is dependent on your knowledge of God. It means making sure that you have taken each step to Christ. It means taking time to study and memorize every day. It means asking God to guide you in your study, and being willing to obey what you learn.
