The Centennial High School STEM Club is passionate about science and competition! We participate in various Science Olympiad tournaments, tackling 23 exciting disciplines from engineering to biology. Our teams, typically of 15 members, compete in pairs across multiple events, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. Students have the opportunity to build innovative contraptions, engage in hands-on science projects, and make lasting friendships while having fun! What do we do? Participate in Science Olympiad competitions Build cool contraptions Learn and study science topics both in and outside of the school curriculum Travel to & compete in various in and out-of-state tournaments Make friends and have fun!
What’s Science Olympiad? • A competition with events in 23 different science disciplines, from engineering to biology to chemistry • Teams of 15 people participate, but we usually send 2-3 teams to each tournament • Members compete in pairs, and each member usually does several events for the team • Teams are selected based on a number of factors, including performance on in-house testing
