  2. Introduction This PowerPoint is not about complex web site programming. It is more concerned with features that can be included on web site that may make it more interesting for the visitor and encourage repeat visits. In developing a web site it is rare to get things right first time. One has to test and analyse.

  3. Be User Friendly Use short sentences and paragraphs on your Web site. Check your spelling and grammar on your Web site Use light coloured backgrounds on your Web site. Avoid letting your pages scroll down too far. Keep your fonts count at a minimum if possible.

  4. Keep It Functional If you use a sound file at your site, give the visitor a choice to hear the file or not. Have all your contact information on your site. Place meta tags on your site. Make sure all your links work on your Web site.
