  2. 2010 Awards Mauro Gonzalez, James Francis Electric, Inc., won third place at the IEC National Apprentice of the Year Competition. Raul Vasquez, IEC San Antonio instructor and Mac Arthur High School instructor, was chosen Instructor of the Year at the IEC National Convention.

  3. 2010 Awards Scott Smith, Dealers Electric Supply, was awarded the Industry Achievement Award at the IEC National Convention. Lloyd Quinney, Quinney Electric Co., was awarded the distinguished honor of National Member of the Year at the IEC National Convention.

  4. Welcome Reception Mauro Gonzalez, Scott DeSha, Judy DeSha, Julie Howard, Raul Vasquez, Leroy Montemayor & Agapito Perez (IEC Rio Grand Valley) at the Welcome Reception.

  5. Foundation Donation IEC San Antonio was able to donate $3,000 to the IEC Foundation. The Foundation writes grants, donates products for our labs, and donates technology. In fact, the foundation wrote our TRIAD grants that we received the last two years. They continue to work on new grants for us all the time. Thank you to all those who supported IEC San Antonio and the IEC Foundation.

  7. Awards Luncheon & Keynote Session National Board of Directors at the Leadership Appreciation Luncheon. Keynote Session speaker, James Kane, spoke about Building & Maintaining Loyal Relationships. Greg Haren, IEC National President, & Larry Mullins, IEC Executive Vice President, give an IEC National update at the Keynote Session.

  8. Regional Director Meeting Joe Martin, IEC Texas Gulf Coast, accepting the Texas Regional Director position. Joe Davis, Southwest Electrical Contracting, Ltd., representing San Antonio, votes for the new Regional Director.
