  1. MATH BINGO! Neela, Rasna, Naima, Harveen

  2. Instructions • Everyone will receive their own bingo card • To play the game, we will show you the question and which column the answer will be in • you will have about 2-5 minutes to solve each question, depending on the question given. • The answer you get from solving the question will correspond to one of the answers on the bingo card.  • You must show your work on a separate piece of paper in order for us to ensure that you are the rightful winner. • The first person to get a linear function ;) (diagonal, across, down) on their bingo card, will win! • Have fun!

  3. Column B • 2√6 x 3√2

  4. Column I • √252

  5. Column N • Fill in the blank b 2 -4ac __ 0

  6. Column I • A ball is kicked into the air and follows a path described by h(t)= -4.9t2 + 6t +0.6 where t is the time, in seconds, and h is the height, in meters, above the ground. Determine the maximum height of the ball to the nearest tenth of a metre.

  7. Column B • √20

  8. Column O • Solve algebraically: • 2x – y=6 • x+ 2y=18

  9. Column G • 2√20 + 3√80 -√125 4

  10. Column B • __________ is a line that intersects a curve at 2 distinct points

  11. Column G • Solve the linear-circle system graphically • x+ y = 100 • y= 4x – 18 3

  12. Column I • Write the following as an entire radical 2√10

  13. Column I • What does the ``A`` represent in the following equation y= a(x+6)(x-4)

  14. Column G • Using the Pythagorean theorem, determine the exact value of the missing side length *diagram on board

  15. Column B • Simplify:-10 + √50 5

  16. Column O • Solve using the quadratic formula, give exact values -2x2 +8x=5

  19. Column G • (4-3√7)(√7+1)

  20. Column N • 2√6 x 7√8 x 5√2

  21. Column G • ____________ a line that touches a curve at 1 point and has the slope of the curve at the point

  22. Column N • An electronics store sells an average of 60 entertainment systems per month at an average of $800 more than the cost price. For every $20 increase in the selling price, the store sells one fewer system. What amount over the cost price will maximize the revenue

  23. Column O • Fill in the blank b 2 -4ac __ 0

  24. Column I • √64

  25. Column N • Find the equation of a quadratic function that has the given roots and contains the given point in factored form -2 and 5 with a point at (7,-3).
