  5. Step 1: Place the center hole over the vertex of the angle

  6. Step 2: Line up (make parallel) the straight edge with one side of the angle

  7. Step 3: Find the point where the second side of the angle intersects with the curved edge

  8. Step 4: Read the number on the protractor to find the measure of the angle

  10. Step 1: Draw a ray with the straight edge of the protractor

  11. Step 2: Place the center hole over the starting point of the ray

  12. Step 3: Place a dot at the angle measure required

  13. Step 3: Line up the straight edge over the starting point of the ray and the dot

  14. Step 4: Draw a ray connecting the two marks. The point at which they meet is called the vertex

  15. Try this: Draw an angle which measures 120o
