Basic Population & Health Indicators – 2007 Other indicators • The total number of population in Dubai was 1,529,790 for the year of 2007. • Nationals constituted 36.1% of the total number of Birth. Males amounted 50.4 % while female 49.6%. • The number of National death was 477 with a percentage 23% of the total number of death. • The top five leading causes of death were Circulatory system disease, Neoplasm, Septicemia, Prenatal period and Respiratory system diseases. • Among elders the top five leading causes of death were diseases of Circulatory system, Neoplasm, Septicemia & Respiratory system diseases .
