  2. 2008 Report (1) • Term of Current AFNLP Officers • President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer • From July 1, 2007 to Dec. 31, 2008 • Current Agreement on the duties of Secretary General: • 1. Administer and oversee the AFNLP election. • *The recommendation is made by NCAC. • 2. Maintain and update AFNLP policies and procedures. • 3. Maintain AFNLP constitution • 4. Record minutes at Executive meeting and Board Meeting held at IJCNLP (every two years) Keh-Yih Su AFNLP-Board IJCNLP-08

  3. 2008 Report (2) • Current Agreement on the duties of Secretary General: • 5. Help with setting up agendas for the executive and the board meetings • 6. Arrange with local organizers and meeting organizers the various meetings at the IJCNLP conference • 7. Interact with officers to remind them of tasks to be done. • 8.   4. 2008 Report (3) • Conclusions from Executive Committee Meeting (Jan. 9, 2008) • Specify the duties for each AFNLP Officer and Subcommittee Chairs • Set up AFNLP Account • Reach out: Tsujii and Tsou • Set up a committee to maintain Asia Recommended Researchers Database • Exchange Liaison Member with ACL • Issue Newsletter Keh-Yih Su AFNLP-Board IJCNLP-08
