Jayasimha and P. Jyothendar, for their paper titled "Detection of Orbital Debris Using Self-Inference Cancellation Residual Signal", in 2013 IEEE International Conference on Space Science and Communication (IconSpace 2013), held on 1-3 July, 2013, in Malacca, Malaysia. • Other – VASVIK Award – Mr. N Venkatesh • Best System Oriented Paper Award (IETE- K S Krishnan Memorial Award) was given to K. Deergha Rao and Ch. Gangadhar, for their paper titled "Discrete wavelet transform and modified chaotic  key based algorithm for Image encryption  and its VLSI  Realization", in  IETE Journal of Research, vol.58, No.2 March-April 2012
