  3. TUCK BY TRUCKTuck by Truck delivers and sells snacks to local businesses in the Bromley area. We have moved from the Oakfield Centre to Bromley North. The mayor came to our opening.We check stock, check for out of date stock and count the money when it’s collected.Service Users are Paid as delivery assistants.

  4. PAPER RECYCLINGPaper Recycling collects paper and cardboard waste from local Businesses.All papers and cardboard are then separated and recycled into our skip.We have to make sure confidential information are shredded.The public is always welcome to dispose their recycling waste in our skip.

  5. WOOD RECYCLINGWe collect wood, timber and garden waste from construction sites, local homes and businesses.We can sell the wood in our workshop.We work in partnership with the National Community Wood Recycling Project in Brighton.All the service users on Wood are currently completing an NVQ in recycling

  6. SHREDDING & INK RECYCLINGWhen we receive recycled paper with confidential information, we always have to shred it.We bag the shredded waste and a paper recycling company comes to pick it up.We recycle ink cartridges, we also collect the ink cartridge from local businesses or they will drop them off at the Oakfield centre.

  7. NEWS SHOPPERWe work with the local Newspaper to deliver the News Shopper paper to homes in the Penge and Anerley area. We also insert leaflets. When we are out delivering we work as a team. We have a good relationship with our customers.

  8. WORK PLACEMENTS / EMPLOYMENT& COMPUTER TRAININGWe do 12 weeks work placements at – Sainsbury’s, British Heart Foundation Charity Shops and Wilkinson Store.A job coach helps us and travel train us into work. We meet other volunteers on our work placement

  9. WORK PLACEMENTS / EMPLOYMENT& COMPUTER TRAININGAt the Bromley North site we do computer training. We are trained on how to use email, search for job websites, write letters using Word and spreadsheets using Excel.96 Service Users attend the Shaw TrustWe have 38 Service Users on Lower Permitted Pay employment.

  10. FUTURE PROJECTS & PLANS Our own Charity Shop Café with a drop in advisory service Provide Job seeking & CV writing workshops Working in Partnerships with other charities Create more work placements
