  2. Agenda • Introduction • Updates from Cecil • Presentation from the AHA Team • Call for Presentations / Showcases

  3. Updates from Cecil • Cecil reports to an Advisory Board. So any projects comes to Cecil needs to be approved but the Board for scoping and then for development. • Provided some updates on the commerciliastion efforts: • Additional programmers hired by UniServices • Development of a web based interface • Based on an existing prototype built for CFDL and expanding it to include assessments…etc • Aiming for early 2005 release (Jan/Feb) • New Staff evaluation system for CPD • Finishing up reports for Faculty of Arts • Exam timetable project • Will make the date/time fields for Exams read-only • Aiming for a summer school release • Will extend the project to include exam room allocation at a later stage • Oracle project with ITSS (big project) • Current database used is Microsoft SQL Server and there are plans for using oracle; working with ITSS for this project.
