  1. Test 3 – June 11, 2010 Please note that the test will start at 7:30am. Test 3 will cover the following sections. Chapter 8: Sections 4,5,6,7,8 Chapter 9: Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 Chapter 11: Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13 Chapter 12 Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Chapter 13, Sections 13-1, 6, 7, 8, 9 The equation list for test 3 is on the next page. It is a fairly complete list of all of the equations we have covered so far. Some of the equations and constants listed do not apply to the test material. The equation list on page 3 is a tentative list for the exam.. Please bring the proper scantron and be on time (7:30 am) Students arriving late are not guaranteed extra time. Those arriving after students have finished will not be permitted to take the test. Please bring a photo ID- I expect to check it as you hand in your test.. During the test you may record your answers on scratch paper, which I provide. If you write part of your answers somewhere other than the area provided for the answer, you must direct the grader to that point. Please take any scratch paper with you unless it has part of your answer. Make sure your name is on any scratch paper you hand in.

  2. We did not cover sections 8-2 and 8-3 on the last test. You are not responsible for the following equations on Test 3 and the final exam. (they have been left on the equation list for completeness) The following equations from those sections are required for problems in the rest of Chapter 8 so you are responsible for them.
